However, she revealed that the period following her victory was far from what she had envisioned. Gupta emphasized that the choice to relinquish her title was not taken lightly. She expressed her intention to release a full video in the coming days to share more details about the circumstances that led to her resignation.

According to the organization, these actions constituted a breach of her responsibilities as titleholder. Consequently, the organization resolved to revoke her title with immediate effect. Gupta is no longer authorized to use the title or wear the crown associated with Miss Grand International 2024.
In the official notice, the organization also requested that the crown be returned to the Miss Grand International Head Office within 30 days from the date of the announcement.
