Charlotte Muzuri, a contestant for the 3rd Miss Universe Zimbabwe competition, has officially withdrawn from the competition due to unforeseen work obligations.
In her statement, Muzuri shared, "Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails. It is with a heavy heart that I must cut my journey short before it begins. My journey with Miss Universe Zimbabwe has been a mission filled with purpose, driven by my passion to inspire, support, and empower our society, especially young children, through the Josephine Helping Hands Kids Foundation – a cause I will continue to champion."
Muzuri further expressed her regret for the inconvenience caused by her withdrawal, acknowledging the impact it may have on the organization, her fellow contestants, and her supporters. "Despite my best efforts, unforeseen work obligations have necessitated my withdrawal from the Miss Universe Zimbabwe 2025 competition. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause to the organization, my fellow contestants, and all who have supported me. I appreciate your understanding and support in this decision," she stated.
Concluding her message, she expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to have been part of the competition, and wished all the best to the remaining participants. "I’m grateful to have been part of an extraordinary group of women, and I wish them all the best. To the Miss Universe Zimbabwe organization, thank you for providing an incredible platform to empower young women and give us a voice. I’ll continue to carry the lessons and inspiration from this experience forward."
Muzuri’s withdrawal leaves a gap in the competition, but her message reflects her continued dedication to her mission outside of the pageant.
