In an exciting new chapter for Palestinian representation in beauty pageants, Yara Bishi has been officially appointed as Miss Grand Palestine 2025. This marks Palestine’s debut in the Miss Grand International competition, set to take place in Bangkok, Thailand on October 18, 2025 a date that will now shine even brighter in the country’s pageantry history. 

Yara is not just a familiar face in pageant circles, but also an accomplished lawyer, model, and advocate. With a law degree under her belt, she has shown strong commitment to speaking out on women’s rights and sexual harassment. Her previous pageant and modeling work  including accolades like winning the UAE Top Model 2024 — give her both the experience and platform to represent Palestine with poise and purpose. 

Her crowning has been welcomed widely for its symbolism and timing. Palestine already participates in Miss Earth and Miss Universe, but entering Miss Grand International adds a new global stage for Palestinian voices.
