MISS TEEN BOTSWANA LEAVES TO ATTEND THE MISS TEEN INTERNATIONAL IN INDIA

As announced by the organisation two days ago, on June 26, Okantlile Koolatoste, the current Miss Teen Botswana, left for India today to compete in the Miss Teen International competition. Lesego Chombo, the 2023 Miss World Botswana, escorted her and saw her off at the airport, where she will now represent the country internationally. Lesego Chombo, who is also Miss World Africa as the continental winner at Miss World, also served as a mentor to this young girl while she was winning the title. Barbara Parraga of Venezuela, who earned the title of Miss Teen World last year, will be the one who will crown the new queen

In 2018, Miss Teen International was founded, marking the sixth year of its existence. It exclusively accepts contenders between the ages of 14 and 19, with only four nations having secured spots thus far: Venezuela, India, Vietnam, and Mexico. Only a small number of nations are competing in this competition; many African nations continue to struggle with admitting pageants younger than 20 years old due to repeated prohibitions against teen pageants.
