The Miss Burundi Organization Committee has officially announced the resignation of Miss Photogenic 2025, Mugisha Jennifer. The decision was made public through an official communiqué issued on August 21, 2025, in Bujumbura.
According to the statement, Mugisha Jennifer voluntarily relinquished her title to fully dedicate herself to her professional and artistic endeavors. Her resignation, communicated through a letter dated July 30, 2025, was accepted in accordance with the official rules and regulations of the Miss Burundi pageant. As a result, all collaboration between Mugisha and the Miss Burundi Organization has officially ended as of that date.
The committee acknowledged and respected her decision, expressing gratitude for her participation in the 2025 edition of the pageant. They extended their best wishes to her for continued success in her future projects.
Furthermore, the Miss Burundi Organization reaffirmed its commitment to promoting the values and principles of the competition. The committee also expressed appreciation to the public and all partners for their ongoing support throughout the event.
The announcement was signed by Mme Rossalynn Kamariza, General Director of INGO S.A., the organization responsible for overseeing the Miss Burundi competition.
