In light of the escalating tensions and conflict between Pakistan and India over the Kashmir region, which has tragically led to significant loss of life and widespread disruption, the organizers of Universal Woman have made the difficult decision to postpone the third edition of the event. Initially scheduled to take place in Jaipur on June 8th, 2025, the pageant will now be rescheduled.
The decision was made with the utmost concern for the safety and well-being of the candidates, national directors, team members, and all those involved. Organizers acknowledged the immense effort and dedication participants have already invested and are committed to providing a safe platform for them to showcase their talents and achievements in the future.
"Our thoughts and prayers are with all the victims and those affected by this conflict. We hope for a swift and peaceful resolution to this crisis," the statement read.
The pageant’s organizers expressed appreciation for the understanding and continued support of their community during this difficult time.
